This was one of the most loaded fields of the weekend with the top six returning 60m dash runners in the state entered to run and the times didn't disappoint! Kaylor Harris kicked things off early on Saturday with a U.S. #2 mark of 7.58 in the prelims. Although Harris ran the fastest time of the day she did not take home the win in the finals (she ended up not running). It was Cy-Springs senior Samiyah Samuels who pulled off the win in the finals tieng Harris's time of 7.58 for U.S. #2. Two other Texans also cracked into the top 10. Amber Ivy from Cy-Creek ran U.S. #6 7.61 and Sha'carri Richardson ran U.S. #9 7.62. (WATCH Race Here)

This was another race where there were four more U.S. top times. The fastest time of the day was from Alexis Duncan. Duncan ran U.S. #2 8.41 to win the prelims, but she did not run in the finals. Tonea Marshall had the second-fastest time of the day just behind Duncan running U.S. #2 8.42. Kennedy Bailey and G'auna Edwards also clocked U.S. top times running 8.66 and 8.67 for U.S. #10 and 11. At the end of the day, it was

Four of the top ten times in the country came from the Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic including the U.S. #1 time of 23.90. That time was run by Danyel White from Cedar Hill. She was followed closely by Symone Mason from Florida who ran U.S. #2 23.98. Amber Ivy and Imani Nave also cracked the top10 list at U.S. numbers five and nine. Eight other girls also ran times in the top 20 in the country. (WATCH Race Here)

The two top times in the country came from the Texas A&M meet. Bailey Lear ran a 55.01 to win the meet and take the U.S. #1 time. Kayla Johnson from Florida ran the 2nd fastest time of the day at 55.03. Her teammate  Symone Mason had the 2nd fastest prelim time but ended up not running the finals. That time of 56.41 also stands as U.S. #8. Morgan Burks-Magee from Rockwall Heath also turned in a top ten time of 56.55 for U.S. #10. One of the biggest highlights of the meet was 7th grader JaEra Griffin running a U.S. #15 time of 55.79. (WATCH Race Here)
