800m
The Boys 800m field is one of the more loaded distance fields at the meet. Parker Scott who has the 3rd fastest outdoor returning time will be running after running 4:24.47 in the mile to finish 3rd last weekend at the Texas A&M Indoor Classic. Scott ran 1:54.09 to finish 3rd in the 800m last year at state, he holds an outdoor PR of 1:53.86. Cameron White the 2nd fastest boys outdoor 800m return will also be in the race. White has run an outdoor PR of 1:53.53. We will also get to see NXN South runner-up Devyn Keith from John Curtis school in River Ridge (LA) compete again this weekend. Keith Holds an indoor 800m PR of 1:57.54. There are several other guys entered with seed times in the 1:55 range.

Julian Perez ran a 4:31.61 to finish 12th in the boys mile last weekend at the Texas A&M classic. Tristan Reyes from After Burner has the fastest seed time of 4:18.10
3000 Meter
David Zavala from Langham Creek has the fastest seed time of 8.59. He's the only one seeded sub 9:00. The next closest seed time is 9:10 from McKinley Lewis from Beaumont Westbrook. Neither have run an indoor 3000m before but Zavala holds a 3200m PR of 9:52.46.
