Analysis: Sophomore year was a big season for Hillyard in cross country. She ran faster than her fastest freshman season time every meet last season. Hillyard dropped over 50 seconds from her freshman year PR. That progress earned her a ticket to the UIL 6A state meet where she placed 30th.
