How many points can we expect from Boerne Geneva's Amy Ambelang?
Amy Ambelang has had a dominant season running the 300 meter hurdles, 100 meter hurdles, and the long jump. In addition, she is also anchor for the regional and district champion in the 4x400 Boerne Geneva. Ambelang could realistically end up with 46 points to close out the meet.
If Geneva is able to pair those points with point contributions from fellow hurdler Graciana Zara, sprinter Reese Ferguson, Sarah Beth Stolle, Jacqueline Knox, and distance runner Emme Owens they have a shot at challenging The Woodlands Christian for the state crown.
They came up just 20 points short of a regional crown. The Woodlands definitely has the depth but Geneva has some heavy hitters that'll make race day interesting.
