Endsley Drops U.S. #2 Time 17:02!
Boys Race
- The boys varsity 6A race was a battle that came down to tenths of seconds between El Paso Americas Brian Lujan and Coppell's Nathan Sims. Both boys ran 15:57 but it would be Lujan who would come out on top running 15:57.40 only .30 of a second faster than Sims (15:57.70). In the team race the guys from Midland Senior High School came out on top scoring 41 points. The guys from El Paso Americas we not far behind scoring 59 points to take 2nd.
Girls Race
- Ashton Endsley dominated the girls race running a new U.S. # 2 time of 17:02. The next closest finisher to Endsley was Amarillo Tascosa's Seselia Dala who ran 18:37. Coppell took the team title scoring 50 points lead by 3rd place finisher Taylor Laura (19:33). Endsley's Abilene Eagles placed 2nd scoring 70 points.
