Daniel Ford has his eyes set on a return to the state meet

Manvel's Daniel Ford is one the top sprinters for the Manvel Mavericks.  Check out his Q and A with TX MileSplit.

TX MileSplit:  How did it feel having the team success you guys have had the last several years and winning it all last year?

Daniel:  It's a great feeling to succeed after all of the improvement my team as well as myself have had over the past years.

TX MileSplit:  You were part of those awesome Manvel relays last year.  How was it getting to the state meet and performing like that on that type of stage?

Daniel:  Helping guide my team all of the way to state is just remarkable and placing is such a great feeling.

TX MileSplit:  You are one of the five or six guys on the tem that run 10.9 or better and four of you have run 21.7 or better.  What is it like being in that impressive Manvel sprint corps?  What are the practices like?

Daniel:  It is very competitive having a lot of talent and great sprinters surrounding you.  Practices are very energetic!

TX MileSplit:  What are your goals for this season?

Daniel:  My goals are to PR in all of my races, make it to state in an open event and a relay, and to become superb at starting.

TX MileSplit:  What is the all-time best Christmas gift you've ever received?

Daniel:  The best Christmas gift I've ever received was a wallet.  It keeps very important things safe.

TX MileSplit:  Who is the best super hero between Superman and Batman, and why?

Daniel:  Superman would win, simply because he is invincible!
