Slaton senior Aidan Gonzales worked hard to be in position to qualify for UIL State Cross Country Championships. Despite the new cross country world 2020 faced with COVID-19, district championships rolled around and Gonzales did what he needed to do to advance to regionals for an opportunity to qualify to state.
