The 2025 track and field season is heating up, and UIL 6A Region 1 is packed with elite talent. Sprinters, distance runners, hurdlers, and field event specialists are already putting up some of the best marks in Texas, and there's still a lot of racing left to go. A few athletes are making their mark across multiple events.

Bailey Johnson has been one of the fastest sprinters so far, leading the 100m at 11.49 and the 200m at 23.20. Samiyah Roberson is right there with her, running 11.58 in the 100m and 23.46 in the 200m. Adeline Bennett has been impressive across the board, clocking 2:12.63 in the 800m, 4:47.75 in the 1600m, and 10:36.10 in the 3200m. Megan Calhoun meanwhile is in the top 5 for the 800, 1600, and 3200.
