Brya Brewer Becomes Nation's Best In Less Than a Year

Cedar Hill jumper Brya Brewer has been long jumping for a couple of years now and has learned to love it. However, when jumps coach, Kenny Roseman suggested she pick up the triple jump to improve her marketability to college coaches, initially the addition was less than a warm embrace.

That was in December 2020, now in April 2021 Brewer finds herself ranked as the US No. 1 girls triple jumper. She jumped 42-0.5 at the Bronco Relays and her college recruitment has picked up. With a decision possibly looming around the corner, Brewer discusses her new event and her progression in it.
