14 Ella Newman (Houston Episcopal)

Newman was 14th at both the South Zone and the State meet with three sub 20 minute races this season.

13 Gracie Little (Hockaday)

As a sophomore, Little had a big role on the Hockaday squad. Prior to her 15th place finish at state, she had four sub 20 minute races including a 19:29.20 performance for fifth place at the North Zone meet.

12 Maddy Billipp (Houston Kinkaid)

The Houston Kinkaid freshman was 12th at the SPC state meet. Prior to that, she ran a 19:04.40 PR at Hoka One/McNeil Inv and added two other sub 20 minute races early during the season.

11 Leena Mehendale (Hockaday)

Mehendale ran under 20 minutes all season long with a 19:12 PR at Jesuit XC Classic. She finished ninth at the SPC state meet.


10 Kevriana Scott (Houston Kinkaid)

The Houston Kinkaid senior had season highlights of 19:04 at Hoka One/McNeil Inv. and 20:19 at South Zone prior to her 10th place finish at state.


9 Lucy Holden (Houston Episcopal)

The Houston Episcopal junior seemed to improve as the season progressed. When October hit, so did Holden as shen ran four consecutive sub 20 minute 5Ks including at Hoka One/McNeil, Chile Pepper, South Zone, and then her 19:25.60 PR at state for her eighth place finish.


8 Julia Newman (Houston Episcopal) 

One of Houston Episcopal's top runners all season long, Newman was consistent in the mid 19s this season for 5,000m. She ran a 19:07.10 PR on one of the tougher courses in the state in Brenham. Add an impressive race at Hoka One/McNeil Inv., runner-up at South Zone Meet, and her seventh place state run.
