Sue Humphrey Writes Book On Coaching Track And Field



Coach Sue Humphrey has enjoyed a career in teaching and coaching that has spanned 50 years. She has experience coaching track and field at just about every imaginable level ranging from high school, to college, the olympic level, and now as a private coach.

Currently, some of her pupils include the defending UIL 6A boys long jump champion Ashton Torns (Austin Westlake) , current US No. 2 girls indoor triple jumper Suzan Ogunleye (Pflugerville Henderickson). However, she has worked with the likes of Olympians Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Gabby Thomas.

Humphrey has written a book called I Want To Run for the beginner athletes, coaches, and for parents that cover topics from training for the 100m - 3,200m (with workouts), to recruiting, and nutrition.
