The Smithson Valley (Spring Branch TC)girls went to the Nike Outdoor Nationals and showed out. They were one of the best overall teams at the meet for the entire duration.
They competed in the 100m, 800m, 200m, long jump, shot put, discus sprint medley relay, 4x100 relay, and the 4x400 relay.
The 4x400 relay is where the UIL 6A runners-up made the biggest impact. They won the national championship with a convincing performance.
