Dan Aldrich and his staff have built Fredericksburg into the tough distance program that could be in contention for a 4A state title for three consecutive seasons in perhaps one of the toughest stretches of time to compete in 4A.
They currently have the No. 1 ranked UIL 4A team in the state, per the CCCAT polls.
The race to win the UIL 4A girls state title has progressively become more difficult with established 4A power programs like Bandera, Canyon, Celina, Huffman-Hargrave, Kaufman, LaFeria and more.
With Randall moving down from 5A and new schools like Comal Canyon Lake and Davenport, this has become an even more interesting title race.
Coach Aldrich speaks to the insights of the Fredericksburg program and how they are gearing up for the final stretches of the 2023 cross country season.
