Kaleigh Frazier Hurdling Her Way The University Of Kansas

Since 2017, six girls have won 9 gold medals at the TAPPS State Track & Field Championships, among them Kaleigh Frazier of Tomball Rosehill Christian. Thriving in both hurdles and contributing on relays, Frazier's email to the University of Kansas turned out to be the catalyst to earn her a scholarship to train under Coach Redwine.

She looks to add to her gold medal collection this season by lowering her current PRs: 14.66 100h and 43.82 300h. While last year she battled a nagging hamstring, she's healthy now and looks to lower both times to sub-14.40 and low 42s.

The powerful 1-2-3 punch of Kaleigh Frazier, Mercy Freeman and little sister Cadence Frazier makes the Rosehill Christian girls squad a formidable favorite to be on the podium at May at the TAPPS State T&F Championships.
