Aliyah Johnson of Fort Worth Southwest Christian didn't just come to compete.
She came to dominate - and dominate she did.
The University of Indiana commit leaves a tremendous legacy not only at her school, but also in TAPPS. This past weekend, she earned her 8th career gold medal when she crossed the finish line in the 200, and as she crossed - teammates cheering - the realization that her high school career was over hit her.
Unfazed by the potential torrent of emotion, she soaked in her final race and walked off the track. It's time to rest and prepare for college.
