Class of 2026 Players

1. John Turntine III (North Crowley) OT

Turntine is a six-foot four offensive tackle. The five-star offensive lineman is uncommitted and is the top rated player in Texas, the third best OT in the country and the 12th best overall player nationally.

As North Crowley looks to be turning into a football powerhouse, their track program is trending in that direction as well. Over the last two seasons, Turntine has been one of their top throwers. He has a 141 personal best in the discus and a 48-11 best in the shot put.

2. Tradarian Ball (Texarkana) RB

Bal is a five-foot ten inch running back. The four-star running back and Oregon commit is the fourth best player in Texas, the No 2 ranked running back in the country, and the 32nd rated football player in the country in 2026.

On the track, Ball has a 10.51 (w) personal best in the 100m and a couple of 10.82 next best runs. He adds a 22.69 200m PB, a 5-6 HJ PB, and a 19-5 LJ PB.

3. Jonathan Hatton (Cibolo Steele) JR. RB

Hatton is a six-foot one running back out of Cibolo Steele. The four-star Oklahoma commit is the fifth best player in the stae, the third best running back nationally, and the 41st best football player in the country.

Hatton blazed through the 2024 season with seven sub 11-second races including a 10.65 personal best.

4. Jalen Lott (Frisco Panther Creek) WR

Lott is a six-foot wide receiver at Panther Creek. The four-star wide receiver is a uncommitted, but it is fair to note he is a UT Legacy student-athlete. Lott is the sixth best player in Texas, the seventh best wide receiver in the country, and the 51st best player nationally.

In his sophomore track season in 2024, Lott won the UIL 4A high jump state title. Additionally, he was fifth in the high jump and had a 6-6 personal best and ran 40.01 in the 300H.

5. KJ Edwards (Carthage) RB

Edwards is  five-foot nine inch running back at Carthage. The East Texas four-star back is ranked No. 8 in Texas, the fourth best running back in the class of 2026, and is the 63rd ranked overall player nationally.

While Edwards didn't run in 2024, as a frosh in 2023 he ran a full season and went 11.08 in the 100m, 22.59 in the 200m, and 19-8 in the long jump.

6. Javian Osborne (Forney) RB

Osborne is a five-foot ten inch running back. He is another top rated RB and is a four-star who is the No. 8 player in Texas, the No. 4 running back nationally in the class, and the 63rd best player in the country.

He ran a 11.05 personal best in the 100m last year.

7. Kaydon Finley (Aledo) WR

Finley is a six-foot wide receiver prospect. He is a four-star pass catcher from the legendary Aledo program. He also checks in as the 11th best player in Texas, the 13th best WR in the country, and the 84th best overall class of 2026 player in the country.

In his two years of high school, Finley has racked up personal bests of 11.47, 23.57, 5-2, and 20-5.

8. Jake Fette (El Paso Del Valle) QB

Fette is a six-foot quarter back from E Paso. The four-star is committed to Arizona State; he is the 12th best player in Texas, the 10th best QB in the class, and the 125th overall best player in the country.

Fette has best on the track and in the field of 11.51, 22.54, and 6-0 in the high jump.

9. Zion Robinson (Mansfield) WR

Robinson is a six-foot four inch wide receiver for the Tigers. The four-star is the 13th ranked player in Texas, the 17th best wide receiver in the country, and the 129th best overall player nationally.

Robinson will continue to rise on the gridiron, but he'll also do the same in same in track and field. Over his two seasons in high school track, he has personal bests of 10.89 (w), 22.03, and 6-8 in the high jump. The latter helped him become the UIL 5A state champ last spring when he cleared the 6-8 bar in Austin.

10. Felix Ojo (Mansfield Lake Ridge) OT

Ojo is a six-foot six inch offensive tackle for Lake Ridge. He is a four-star offensive lineman who is the 14th best Texas players in the class, the 11th best at the tackle position, and the 131st best football player nationally.

Ojo threw a 119-4 personal best last year in the discus.

11. Jesse Ford (Arlington Martin) DL

Ford is a six-foot four defensive lineman at Martin. The four-star pass rusher is the 16th ranked player in Texas, the 19th best class of 2026 DL in the country, and the 114 overall rated player nationally.

Over his two years at Martin, he has collected 48-7.25 and 148-7 personal bests in the shot and discus.

Morris is a five-foot and nine inch wide receiver. The Northeast Texas four-star wide receiver is committed to Baylor to play ball. He is the 17th best player in Texas for the class of 2026, the No. 23 wide receiver in country, and the 145th best player nationally.

Morris has been highly successful on the track in his two high school seasons. He has personal bests of 10.72 (w), 21.91, and 41-3 in the triple jump. He finished fifth in the 200m at the state meet as a freshman, and as a sophomore, he was third in the 100m and second in the 200m at the UIL 3A state meet.

13. X'Zavier Barnett (Yoakum) Ath

Barnett is a six-foot one inch player listed as an athlete. The Yoakum four-star player is the 23rd ranked player in Texas, the 10th best athlete in the country, and the 174th best player in the country.

Throughout his two seasons in high school, Barnett has personal bests of 23.63 in the 200m, 57.51 in the 400m, 43-11.5 in the triple jump, 21-11 in the long jump, and 5-8 in the triple jump.

14. Jayden Warren (Rosharon Iowa Colony) WR

Warren is a six-foot two wide receiver from Iowa Colony. The four-star receiver is the 23rd best Texas player in the 2026 class, the 30th best wide receiver in the country, and the 179th best football player nationally.

Warren exploded in the 2024 track season. He ran impressive personal bests of 10.58 (w), 21.07, and 50.94. Warren medaled twice at the UILO 4A state meet by finishing third in both the 100m and 200m.

15. Zaden Krempin (Prosper) IOL

Krempin is a six-foot four inch interior offensive lineman. The four-star run stopperfor Prosper is the 24th best player in Texas, the 12th best offensive  lineman in the country, and the 183rd best overall player nationally.

Kermpin has a 153-9 best discus throw and a 50-4.25 shot put best. He advanced to the area championships in both seasons.

16. Chris Stewart (Shadow Creek) WR

Stewart is a six-foot wide receiver from Shadow Creek, one of the up-and-coming programs in the Houston area. The four-star receiver is ranked No. 25 in Texas, the 31st best receiver in the country, and 183rd overall player nationally.

He has personal best performances of 11.10 and 22.24 in his career.

17. Jordan Clay (San Antonio Madison) WR

Clay is a six-foot four wide receiver from Madison. He has a No. 27 ranking in Texas, a No. 32 wide receiver national ranking, and is 186th in the country.

Clay is a 14.78 and 42.38 hurdler with runs of 11.80 and 23.78 in the 100m and 200m events. He also best performances of 5-8 in the high jump and 37-8 in the triple jump.

18. Brayden Robinson (Red Oak) WR

Robinson is a five-foot eight inch tall Red Oak wide receiver. He is a four-star pass catcher who is the 32nd best player in Texas and ranks No.36 at his position nationally, and the 215th overall football player in the country.

While Robinson didn't have a great or in depth 2024 season, he did run 10.89 in his only meet of the season. However, in 2023, the sophomore helped lead Red Oak track and field team to one of the years in school history.

He ran a 10.44 personal best and finished sixth at the UIL 5A state meet in the 100m. They ran 40.29 to win the 4x100 relay at the state meet and 1:24.88 in the 4x200 relay.

19. Paris Melvin Jr. (Cypress Springs) Ath

Melvin Jr. is a four star-wide receiver/athlete for Cypress Springs. The Panther is is five-foot and eleven inches tall and is the 52nd best prospect in Texas, the No. 26 ranked athlete and the 391st best player nationally.

Last year, Melvin Jr. ran a 10.97 personal best in the 100m and 22.99 in the 200. He added a 19-10.50 best long jump

performance.

20. Ayson Theus (Duncanville) WR

Theus is a three-star wide receiver product. At five-feet eight inches, he ranks as the No.65 best football player in Texas, No. 73 at the position in the country, and 490 overall nationally.

In 2024, Theus was another cross-sport star to double on the back-to-back state champion football squad and help the track team to back-to-back runner-up state meet team finishes.

He ran 10.71 in the open 100m last year and and led off the No. 3 all-time fastest 4x100 relay 39.47 and the 1:22.25 national record setting 4x200 relay.
