The South Texas and Rio Grande Valley areas are heading into what will be an exciting track and field season. The 2025 outdoor track and field season seriously begins in a couple of days and the first weekend looks like it will have pretty good weather for athletes to get started.
There were several state meet qualifiers from the region as well as a couple of individual medal winners and even a team championship trophy that went home with the Refugio girls.
