The indoor track and field season is set to begin this upcoming weekend at the Texas High School Indoor Championships hosted by Texas A&M University.

This year will follow last season's record level season, where returners Tate Taylor (6.64) and Justin Stewart (6.69) will be in action this year.

Cameron Burrell and Jayden Finley are tied at 6.61 for the best mark in Texas indoor history.
