This race will feature the two fastest 800m runners so far this year in the state of Texas. Texas and U.S. #1 Bryce Hoppel, from Midland will face off TX#2 and US#11 Cade Bethmann from Arlington Martin. Houston Strake Jesuit will also have three guys in the mix looking for the win. Hoppel is the favorite with his time of 1:51.67, and being the top returner in the state from last year in the 800m.

1600m
The field is stacked with several returning state and cross country champions, including 3A cross country champion Nic Butts. Butts is currently TX #1 and U.S. #7 in the 1600m with his time of 4:17.18. Both the TX #2 and #3 guys JT Graass from St Marks and Andrew Hebert from Houston Strake Jesuit will also be in the race. We could also see the top 2015 returneres Carter Blunt and Jon Bishop.
3200m
This year the returning meet record holder in the 3200m Carter Blunt is supposed to be attending again. Blunt ran sub 8 in the 3200m last year with his time of 8:57.01. Nic Butts is entered in this race as well with his time of 9:08.66. The field will also feature TX #3 David Strome, TX # 6 Charlie Gardner and TX #8 and 9 Connor O'Neill and Briggs Whittlake. We also can't forget about indoor Mile National Champion Reed Brown although we don't know which events he will be running yet he's sure to make a big impact on the field.
