What to Watch:
Blink and you will miss this race! Jacob Gray has been on fire the past couple weeks and on the verge of running sub-10.50. Duvernay came on strong in the final weeks of the season and posted the 5th fastest time in the state at his area meet. Hudson entered the season as one of the favorites in the 100&200. After an unfortunate injury it's an impressive feat that he even made it back to State. The past two weeks he's shown good form in 100 & the relays. He could be on the verge of finding his true speed, and if he does, everyone needs to look out for lane 8.

With the momentum Taylor Bennet has built from Regionals she has the ability to sweep the sprints. It certainly wont come easy with her biggest challenger likely to come from Kira White who has been dominant in the 100m. Right in the mix Samuels, Johnson, and Murrell all have a lot of experience and fast times this season to make them contenders. Don't overlook the youngster from Alvin, Flannel impressively makes it to State as a freshman.

What to Watch:
Last time he was on this track John Lewis came away with the Texas Relays 100m title, foreshadowing for State? Lewis has the target on his back, but this field is stacked with athletes who can run under 10.60 and contend for the win.

Chassidy Love had a huge Regional meet that now sees her enter the 100m with the top seed and tied for fastest 5A 100 athlete in the state. Its going to take a time well under 12s to win the title and there's no doubt Roberts and Francis both have the ability to do that.

What to Watch:
In his last run for a state title Bradford is fired up for the 100m, but he'll have tough competition. Ignore the seed time for lane 1, Fields has run 10.52 and will be there stride for stride with Bradford fighting for the win.

This race could be decided between the two sophomores Gordon and Kerley who can both run 11.7. Takyera Roberson makes her first state trip in the 100m, and after a big PR at Regionals, she could come through on top.

What to Watch:
Dancer, Richardson, Sims, and Scott have all run under 10.70 this season, with no dominant individual this race is wide open.

Not a single girl has run sub-12 in the 3A 100m this season, look for that to change at state.

What to Watch:
The sophomore from New Deal is the heavy favorite in this race. Mark Adams has a 10.49 to his name this season, and it'll take a big season best for someone to challenge him.

Kortnei Johnson has the fastest 2A 100m this season by a decent margin, and is the favorite in this race as she looks to defend her 2014 State Title.
