In every event, Texans rewrote the rankings but the sprint events were dominated! In the 60m dash two Texans earned top 10 spots. Clear Brook's Brandon Taylor ran a huge 60m PR of 6.90 to tie U.S. #7. Also running one of the top 10 times in the country was World Youth medalist Keshun Reed from Arlington Martin. Reed ran 6.91 to tie for U.S. #9. That was only the start of Reed's day being that he ran a new U.S. top time every time he touched the track. (WATCH Race Here)

One runner broke 8.00 sec in the 60mH all day and that was Allen senior Bryce Douglas. Douglas ran a 7.99 in the finals to take the win by more than a tenth of a second. Including Douglas, nine of the top 20 times in the county were run in the 60mH. Two of those times are in the top 10 including Medric Roberson's U.S. #7 8.13 and Tyler Guillory's U.S. #9 8.16. 200m
Shamon Ehiemua from Fort Bend Marshall ran the fastest time of the weekend at 21.61. That time was a U.S. #1 time for most of the day until USATF Junior National Outdoor T&F 200m Champion Noah Lyles led a group of runners to three nation-leading times. Lyles ran 21.25 for U.S. #1, followed by William Allen from Paul Dunbar (KY) U.S. #2 21.51, and Eric Harrison from St. John's College High School in DC at U.S. #3 21.58. Texans still hold 3 of the top 10 times in the country with Fort Bend Marshall's John Isom coming in at U.S. #8 22.06 and Jace Comick coming in at U.S. #10 22.08. Counting those athletes, there are 18 total Texas runners in the top 50 in the country. (WATCH Race Here)

The guys 400m dash was one of the most exciting races of the day on Saturday. Friday we had already witnessed several top times but Saturday's finals were off the charts! Keshun Reed of Arlington Martin led a trio of runners to the top three times in the nation. Reed ran 47.09 for U.S. #1 followed by Champion Allison 47.31 U.S. #2, and Howard Fields 47.75 for U.S. #3. Chance Stephenson also ran a huge PR of 48.50 to tie Joshua McLemore from Downingtown West (PA) for U.S. #7. The final U.S. top 10 performance in the 400m dash came from Dallas Skyline's Jostyn Andrews who ran U.S. #9 48.56. (WATCH Race Here)
