Samiyah Samuels Out Jumps The Rest!

Samuels like many others has gotten better already in just two meets back. The Cy-Springs senior competed on her future home track this weekend and already jumped further and ran faster than she did last weekend at A&M. At A&M, she ran the 60m dash in 7.58 and jumped 19-9.5, this weekend she came back even stronger to run a U.S. #5 60m dash time of 7.56 and jump a U.S. #2 mark of 20-0.25! The only Texan at the Carl Lewis meet to run a faster 60m dash time then Samuels was Amber Ivy from Cy-Creek who ran U.S. # 2 7.49. Samuels long jump 60m double earned her athlete of the meet.
