Tuesday Training With Ryan Yerrow: 800's, Abs, Hills and The Falcon Invitational

Tuesday Traning With Ryan Yerrow Week 4 


Monday 8/22- First day of senior year today, and it actually went really well. After school, we did a 2-mile warmup then 1x5 mile repeats and then a 1 mile cool down. I felt really good today.

Tuesday 8/23- Ran 6 miles this morning just under 6:30/ mile. Felt really good. Today after school did upper body weights and abs and then 3 miles a little faster than 7-minute pace.

Wednesday 8/24- This morning got in a 2-mile warmup then 20x400's. They felt extremely good, it's the best I've felt during a workout like this one this early in the season. After that, I got in a 1 mile cool down. Today after school I got in 4 miles with some of the younger guys at 7-minute pace.

Thursday 8/25- Got in 6 miles this morning at about 6:30 pace. Felt really good. Got a good upper body workout this afternoon, then got in 3 miles a little faster than 7-minute pace.

Friday 8/26- No run today. 

Saturday 8/27- This morning I got in my best long run in a long time with 15 miles at a pretty quick pace on some decent hills.

Sunday 8/28- Just got in a nice 7 miles on my treadmill in my house at about 6:45 pace as a recovery from yesterday's long run. Overall this week was pretty good. My workouts were really good and I was feeling very strong. Can't wait for the races to come!
