Below is a message from the meet director:
Due to 8+ inches of rain on the course already with several more days of rain forecasted, we decided that it's in the best interest and safety of the kids to cancel our meet. It is entirely a dirt course (now completely mud) with many hills. It's either slick or you get stuck in the mud. It will take well over a week of hot weather for the course to dry out.
We explored alternatives such as a road race but did not have enough time to complete the process for road closures with the city.
I have attached 2 pictures which really don't even show you how bad it is out there.
