30. Daniel Viegra - 2014 - 2017 - (Pflugerville Henderickson) - As a sophomore, Viegra had a top four finish at the UIL 6A state cross country meet; that's when he had arrived. He continued to qualify for state in both track and cross country. He ran superb PRs like 4:06.68, 8:59.57, and 15:12.97 in cross country. Viegra qualified for Foot Locker Nationals and finished in 22nd senior year.

29. Parker Stinson - 2007 - 2010 - (Cedar Park) - Stinson was a Central Texas stud. He had PRs of 1:59.03, 4:12.85, 8:54.70, and 15:11.40 in cross country. He had a 24th place NXN finish in 2008 and a 2009 UIL 5A 3200m state championship.

28. Kyle Miller - 2000 - 2003 - (Katy Cinco Ranch) - Miller was another rangy runner on this list. He had PRs of 1:50.26, 4:09.73, 9:10.02, and 15:02 in the 5k. He ran to a 2003 state championship in the 3200m that helped his team win the state team title as well.

27. Brad Hauser - 1992 - 1995  - (Kingwood) - Hauser was one of the leaders of the Kingwood squads that won six consecutive 5A cross country state titles and eight in 10 years from 94 - 2003. He helped his team in some classic team battle agains Houston MacArthur and The Woodlands. Hauser won the 1994 and 1995 individual cross country title where he went on to finish fourth at Foot Locker Nationals. The then added the 3200m in track with his 1994 9:04.10 win. He had 9:01.76 and 15:09.20 5K PRs.

26. Erik Stanley - 1999 - 2003 - (Klein) - won several state runner-up medals, but he never got that elusive state title. However, the Klein super star did impress both the state and the nation with his epic 1600m battles with Steve Magness. Stanley rolled to 1:53.56, 4:03.77, and 9:05.63 PRs on the track and a 15:15 cross country PR. He finished 28th at Foot Locker Nationals in 2003.

25. Rod Koborsi 1998 - 2001 - (Houston Jersey Village) - Koborsi had a classic cross country state meet battle in 2000 that saw him pull away in the final meters to take the UIL 5A win in 14:58, which was a blistering time for the old course. He went on to place 11th at Foot Locker Nationals with a 15:16. He also ran 4:13.82 in 2001 in the 1600m, and a 8:57 3200m at Golden West.

24. Daniel Bernal 2014 - 2017 - (El Paso Eastwood) - Bernal is one of El Paso's best individual runners of All-Time. Things clicked his sophomore year and he went on a tear from there, medaling many times in cross country and track. He qualified for NXN in junior and senior years finishing 36th junior year and 10th as a senior. He had impressive PRs with his 4:15.54, 8:54.21, and 14:45.60 in cross country.

23. Alex Rogers 2012 - 2015 - (New Braunfels Canyon) - Rogers had an exceptional senior year and that is what landed him on this list. That senior season, he was second at the UIL 6A state cross country championships and was 17th at Foot Locker Nationals and 82nd at NXN. However, it was the track where he dominated 2015. He was undefeated in the 3200m going 9:00 twice as well as a 8:58.53 to win Texas Relays; he also went 4:08.70 in the 1600m and then added the state title in that as well. His PRs were 1:56.40, 4:08.70, 8:58.70, and 15:01.28.

22. Carter Blunt- 2013 - 2016 -(Frisco Independence) - Some athlete spend their entire high school careers chasing a state title; It seems like they found Blunt. By the time his UIL career ended he had nine individual state championships (three UIL 5A triple crowns). He started off at Heritage High School, but when Independence was opened residential boundaries moved him to the new school, but he was up to his old tricks and kept winning. The 2014 cross country season was Blunt's best achievement wise when he finished 13th at Foot Locker Nationals and 20th at NXN.


21. Alex Maier 2016 - 2019 (Flower Mound) - As a sophomore, Alex Maier looked like he was going to become Texas' GOAT. He was second place at the UIL state cross country meet and then finished fifth in both the NXN and Foot Locker Nationals. He then ran three sub 9:00 3200m races as he had some epic battles with Reed Brown. Late in the cross country season, Maier suffered from a respiratory infection that forced him to drop out of the state cross country meet. Weeks later, he temporarily enough to qualify for NXN and finish 14th overall. The track season wasn't quite on the same trajectory as Maier had started. It wasn't until his senior year that he once again started to look like himself. He won the UIL 6A state cross country championship and mad it back to NXN where he finished 7th overall. He also was able to double medal at the state track meet. In the end, Maier had a stellar career with outstanding PRs not many could emulate as he went 1:59.87, 4:09.41, 8:52.30, and 14:25.60 for his career.
