Darryl George - The Scotlandville (LA) sprinter had two good opening races. He dashed 6.97 in the prelims and boule backed in the finals with a quickere 6.95.

Cameron Jackson - The state 2022 state finalist in the 110H opened up with two event winning performances. He showed he is in good form in the 60H by going 8.19 and then dropping a 22.12 to capture the 200m victory.

Ryan Niblett - The Eisenhower senior had a busy weekend in Third Ward, Texas. He had a visit with the Houston football team Saturday and then competed on Sunday. He ran 22.21 for a close second in the 200m and then won the long jump in 6.87m.

Iliya Dryaba - Every couple of years, The Woodlands has a 400m star; Dryaba looks to be the next one. He ran a 48.49 PR to take the meet win and a big time personal best.

Chase Lehr - The Breckenridge half-miler dropped a smooth looking 1:57.41 for the win. It was a good start for the defending UIL 3A state champion.

Sydney Bryant - The Shadow Creek sprinter displayed her early season form by dashing to a 7.75 good enough for second in 60m and then returning for the 200m final to win in 24.55.

Rylee Hampton - Cypress Ridge junior hurdler ended last year at the state meet and begins this year with a  8.70 60H win.

Taylor Nunez - The Randolph sprinter/jumper enters her second high school season and starts in a good way. She was first in 15-16 year old girls 60m with a 7.63 run and second in the 200m with a 24.77.

Brianna Rivers - The Summer Creek state meet qualifier won 15-16 girls high jump competition with a 1.67 and was also fourth in long jump.

Cali Bryant - The Houston Memorial sophomore and state meet qualifier was second in the 15-16 girls high jump and finished her day with a 1.67 and third place finish in long jump.
