MJ Novelli (Northwest Nelson) and Emily Orr (El Paso Franklin) compete at the Southlake #2 Inv.
The Hoka McNeil Inv. and the Southlake #2 Invite were two of the top producing meets in the state in terms of performances.
McNeil was the tougher of the two courses, but that did not stop girls from running fast. Elizabeth Leachman (Boerne Champion) ran one of the fastest times of the season with her 16:30. On a flatter and faster course, Sydni Wilkins (Frisco Liberty) put on a very good display as she dropped a 17:34 personal best run at Southlake.
Staucie Lees bounced back from her Texas A&M Inv. performance with an emphatic 17:34 run of her own at the Grizzly XC Inv.
