Region 2 in 5A has been a hotbed of competition this season, with top-tier performances across multiple disciplines. Frisco Heritage's Cordial Vann leads the 100 meters with a blistering 10.44 from the Prosper Dan Christie Relays, narrowly edging Corsicana's Ty'Shaun Lloyd, who clocked a 10.46 at the Trojan Relays. Carrollton Smith's Zion Isaiah Raheem Williams (10.57) and Red Oak's Dhillon McGee (10.58) add to the depth of the event.

The 200 meters has been equally competitive, with Dallas Highland Park's Cannon Bozman setting the pace at 21.49 from the Coppell Cowboys Relays.
