Hebbronville's Christopher Benavides (10.82) is close behind and also sits inside the top 10 in the 200m. Yoakum has a pair of underclassmen in the mix with Kennan Dilworth (10.95) and Jace Morales (11.01), adding depth to their sprint corps.
In the 200m, Cotulla sophomore Brayden Rodriguez holds the top time at 22.64 and has gone sub-22.8 twice already. Randolph's Palmer Vandevere and Marion's Tanner Otis are both trending well, with multiple sub-23 efforts under their belts.
The 400m leaderboard is tight at the top. Goliad junior Hunter Cano is No. 1 with a 50.96, while Santa Gertrudis Academy's Sebastian Alvarez has been consistent with three marks in the low 51s. Hebbronville's Dante Moreno (51.58) is right there as well.
