The top Texas girls unleashed some serious speed this past weekend, lighting up courses from El Paso to East Texas. Out west, Emily Orr (El Paso Franklin) dropped the state's weekend-leading time of 18:03 to dominate the Eastwood Twilight, putting herself squarely in the early-season spotlight. Meanwhile, in East Texas, Emma Goetz (Tyler Grace Community) made her presence felt with a sharp 18:16 victory at the Tyler Legacy XC Invitational, cementing her spot among the state's breakout performers.
