What to Watch:
The question is if anyone can challenge Rogers & Worley over this distance. Region 4 could easily sweep the race with Myers posting a big 9:07 at Regionals. Connor Meaux hasn't had to run in the low 9s to get this far, and he wont have to think about doubling in the 1600m so watch for the College Park senior to have a big impact on this race searching for a sub-9. David Strome is another big name who is only running in this race. Reed Brown is looking to run sub-9:10 though the 1600m is more his strength. With Rogers looking to run well under 9min there are going to be very few able to stay with him if he starts working through the laps at that pace.

There are a lot of quality distance runners toeing the line in the girls race, but with Maddy Reed out this really comes down to Heymach vs Clark. The 1600m will have more girls in the mix, but both Clark and Heymach don't play tactical races and will hammer from the gun and no one else will be able to keep pace with these two All Stars. Both athletes haven't really been challenged all season. Heymach proved she has a good kick in her one close battle at Texas Relays. It will be a fun race to watch unfold and see what kind of time we will see out of two of the best in the nation.

What to Watch:
This race is all about Carter Blunt. If he goes out in sub-9 pace the race for the title is over. Reyna and Tankersley had an exciting battle at the Region meet, and we'll see that replay at State as Tank takes aim at his 9:11 school record.

Gray and Welborn are evenly matched in the 3200m. If they take control early this race will be decided between that duo, but if it gets tactical it will open the race to a few more girls who can push sub-11s.

What to Watch:
Sam Farrell has the ability to sweep the 4A 1600/3200, but he'll get a good race out of Austin Speer and Justin Domangue who both have been comparable times in 2015.

Hanna Sanchez has the fastest 4A 3200m of the season, but she'll have to watch out for Christina Hernandez who ran her season best 11:24 at Region and carrying good form into the state meet.

What to Watch:
The Bruceville-Eddy duo went 1-2 at Region, can they repeat that same result at State?

It's rare for a freshman to enter the race as the favorite, but Cryslan Tucker has run 11:31 this season, and with no one else under 11:40, we could see the newcomer from Holliday take her first State Title.

What to Watch:
There's a select group of athletes running under 10:10 all looking to break the 10min barrier. Omero Rodriguez was just over 2s shy of that mark of Regionals. Will he be the 1st to cross the line and 1st 2A guy under 10min in 2015?

The girls race is all in the hands of the sophomore from Sundown. With a season best over 30s faster than any other 2A athlete, it would be a big shock if this is a close race.

What to Watch:
Devitt Smetana has run under 10min this season and the only 1A athlete to accomplish that feat. The senior from Veribest will have the target on his back as the pace setter and man to watch in this race.

It will take running close to or under 12min to win the girls 3200m. So far only Barfield, Salinas, and Bell have shown they can run close to that mark.
