Norman Grimes is a hurdle master! Last year he competed in the 400m hurdles at the World Youth Track and Field Championships in Cali Colombia and took home the gold for team U.S.A.! He also took home the 400m hurdle gold medal in the Pan-American Championships running 50.01. The Texas Tech commit was the 300m hurdle champion at last year's state meet. He will look to reclaim his title this year. Grimes is not only a beast at the 300m Hurdles but also the 110m Hurdles and sprints. Grimes holds a 400m PR of 47.93 which ranks TX #8 coming into this season.
