The Texas pole vault community is as good of a community as you'll find in any state and in any sport. That is why the athletes have been jumping at a high level dating back to October.
Now that It's April, expect to see the heights get even better and we can potentially see three to four more girls jumping over 14 feet really soon. Molly Haywood of Tomball Memorial has already cleared that height and leads the Texas girls in the pole vault.
