It's always a good time to produce a too early prediction of the who's the best.
This however isn't neither a subjective point of view nor is it a prognostication, however, it's a ranking based on what has happened so far.
While it is too early to say who will be atop of the awards podiums at the state meet, you can still get some sort of view of what teams you'll be stalking as the championship season rounds progress.
Standing out in the early goings of the season are a couple of teams.
One is definitely Duncanville; they have speed every year, but they currently have experience, and they also have established program guys. D'Ville currently sit at the five spot, but we'll have to revisit this possibly after this weekend, but for sure after the Texas A&M Bluebonnet Inv. when they'll let some of their stars loose in the individual events.
