Meet Preview: Breakdown And Projections of Region 3

2A Girls

In the 2A girls classification, we are going to see a battle between several teams trying to qualify for state. The Crawford girls should be safe in the first place spot. They could place three girls in the top 10 to help seal their trip back to Round Rock. However, that is where the race will get interesting. With teams like Moody, Grapeland, and Valley Mills all trying to back to state as well, you can expect to see coaches and supporters all over the course urging their teammates to push harder.

However, there will be more teams who will seriously be in the hunt. Rosebud-Lott, Douglass, and Riesel could all have strong races and get one of those qualifying positions.

Girls Team Predictions:

1. Crawford

2. Moody

3. Valley Mills

There is a freshman from Axtell who will attempt to shake things up this year in the individual race. Karis Dieterich comes in with the fastest time on the season.
