4A Girls
There will be a two team fight for the Region 3-4A Girls championship. Lorena and Huffman-Hargrave will have a close race for the team win. Several other teams will have hopes and goals of grabbing one of the other two qualifying spots.
Girls Team Predictions:

4. Lufkin Hudson
In the individual race, there are some freshmen who will look to lead this race. Charzelle Williams and Addison Sykora will both race in their first UIL regional race and they definitely have the ability to win. Upperclassmen like Renee Elliott and Kayleigh Wagnon won't be far behind and could also grab the win. Don't sleep on two-time UIL 4A state champ Emily Garcia. The Alvarado senior is working her way back from a knee injury that sidelined her for her entire junior season, but she knows how to win and she is well coached!
4A Boys
Huffman-Hargrave will come in confident and they should. Their only competition will come from Lufkin Hudson who has a good squad themselves.
There will be a couple of teams going at it in a close team reace for the last two spots between Center, Hillsboro, Carthage, and Gatesville.

This could be Jacob Garcia's race all the way, but Roberto Maldonado could have something to say about it. If Peyton Pluenneke is feeling good, he could also be a factor.
