This past weekend was another outstanding couple of days of impressive early-season running. Many athletes and teams who haven't lined up to this point were itching with excitement to get the opportunity to get a race on their legs. Some were even able to get the second and third races.
From the DFW to El Paso and all the way down to the RGV, there were competitions going down within the Texas borders. Still, much of the state has yet to compete, and serious competition won't start for another two weeks.
Nevertheless, let's take a look at what the rankings look like thus far for the athletes who have been able to get a 5K under their belts.
