We saw many good starts today in the girls 100m in 1A. Anna Hudson from Miami had an incredible start though in which her momentum just seemed to increase like a huge crescendo. At about the 50m mark she really turned on the jets and left the other ladies behind. She earned the gold today and then some. She finished with a time of 12.24 which is a new record in the event!
Caroline Myrick earned the bronze with a time of 12.63.

Emily Berry a Senior from Happy took off fast and led the entire way. She looked comfortable with her lead but Guerrero and Alliyah Harrison a Junior from Veribest were contesting the sure win and with about 100 to go Berry opened up and took a commanding lead but not ready to quit Guerrero almost caught her at the finish line.
Berry won the gold with a time of 58.90, Guerrero captured the silver with a time of 59.04 and Harrison captured the bronze with a time of 1:00.38.

Anna Husdon of Miami wasn't just satisfied winning Gold in one event. She came out to compete and show her dominance in yet another event. The 200m started off fast for these ladies and Hudson had no problem taking the lead even before they came out of the curve.
As she came across the finish she was understandably happy as she broke another record, this time by nearly 2 tenths of a second! She was all smiles as she captured another 1st place earning her some more golden bling with a time of 25.48.
Chasing Husdon yet again was Brooklyn Jaeger from Fayetteville. She's shown great consistency this weekend as she was able to come in and clean out another race for some silver. Her second place finish came in at 26.07.
