Breakdown: In back to back years it's a story of Texas versus the out of state challengers. The top ranked American team from FL came to Austin in 2015 but were taken down in spectacular fashion by the strong Texas quarter milers. Archbishop Carroll has a 3:16 in 2016 from the indoor season. Coming off a disappointing finish at New Balance Nationals they will be highly motivated to show up big in Texas. Keshun Reed keeps showing us he may be the best closer in Texas track, but if he gets the stick with a big deficit to make up on Carroll, he's going to need to split a 44 to make up ground on an athlete like Maxwell Willis.

With Howard Fields back in action, Manvel is equipped to fight for the win on Saturday night. Desoto has found their groove in the 4x4 this season and Strake\/Summer Creek will bring the heat from Houston!
