girls 4x400m

RecordsD1 - 3:52.18 Stafford '06 | D2 - 3:39.80 LB Poly ('02 ) LB Wilson ('06)

Record Breakers: Hightower - Cy Springs - Converse Judson

Contenders: McKinney Boyd - Cedar Hill - The Woodlands

In The Hunt: Desoto - Nansemond River - McKinney North

D1 Pick: St. Agnes
Breakdown: If they load the 4x400m, Nansemond River is likely the only team with a chance to challenge Hightower. The Lady Canes ran 3:40 last weekend and are right on target to go after the meet record this year. It's uncertain if the Nansemond River girls are in the shape to run 3:40 or faster at this point in their outdoor schedule. The Woodlands, Cy Springs, Judson, and McKinney North have all broken 3:50 and there's another pack of strong teams under 3:55. With Danyel White on the anchor, Cedar Hill can't be counted out of any of the sprint relays. The girls 4x400m final could be one of the best 1600m relays races we see during the entire year outside of New Balance Nationals
