Records:  36.10 Norman Grimes Canyon '15

Record Breakers: Norman Grimes - Cody Johnson - Jesus Serrano

Contenders: Jayson Baldridge - Ardran Carr - Charles Brockman

In the hunt: Tyler Hart - Tyler Guillory - Xavier Jackson

Breakdown: This is a battle for second. Norman Grimes has been racing unattached in collegiate fields and already gone under 50s in the 400H. It's doubtful anyone in the country can beat the World Youth Champion in the 400H or 300H. He ran his fastest time of the entire 2015 season at Texas Relays last year. Watch out for the Texas Tech commit to take down his meet record in the second year the 300H has been added to the Texas Relays schedule.

While Grimes is certainly on a level of his own, he doesn't have much room for error. Jayson Baldridge just announced he verbally committed to Baylor this week, and he is the only athlete in the US other than Grimes to run 36 in the 300H this season. Adding to that, Johnson, Serrano, Hart, and Carr have all been running 37s. With six of the Top-15 in the nation entered, you can't miss this race!
