Breakdown: 3A 100m state champion Quentin Dancer is the man to beat in the D1 race, but the D2 competition is wide open. Brandon Taylor enters Texas Relays with an impressive resume so far in 2016. Runner up in the 60m at New Balance Nationals and undefeated outdoors in the 100m. Taylor ran 10.38(4.3) to edge out Jace Comick at the TSU Relays by .16s. Maxwell Willis is know more for his 200/400 ability, but with a 10.40(3.7) PR he can't be counted out in his outdoor debut. Trevin Chambers returns to Texas Relays looking to improve on his 7th place finish last year. Among the rest of the talented sprinters in the field is Joseph Sheffield. He's a wild card going into the weekend. He's been having a breakout season so far, but this will be his first big test under the pressure of a major meet.
