With the season heating up, the athletes in UIL 6A Region 4 are already making noise on the track and in the field. The times are dropping, the throws are getting farther, and the competition is shaping up to be some of the best in Texas.
Austin Lake Travis sprinter Abram Reagan has been electric, leading the way in both the 200m (21.26) and 400m (46.80), showing off his range across the sprints. Tate Taylor from Harlan isn't far behind, holding the top 100m time at 10.36 while also breaking into the top 10 in the 400m.
In the distance events, Luke Bone from Austin High is proving to be one of the best all-around runners in the state, holding top marks in both the 800m (1:50.34) and 1600m (4:13.43). Zachary Miller of Northside Brennan has been dominant in the 3200m, setting the bar at 9:03.45.
