Hightower girls and Cypress Springs girls battling it out in the 4x400m relay at region 3
The final event of the evening! This will be a thriller. The girls' side features the four of the top 10 teams in the country, including the No. 1 team, Fort Bend Hightower. They had an epic showdown against Cypress Springs, where both teams ran U.S. No. 1 and 3 at the regional meet. They are by far the favorites. McKinney Boyd and DeSoto will also be in the mix fighting with The Woodlands for a podium spot. This could come down to whoever's runners are most rested after a long day of competition. I think there will be a new nation-leading time after this race, and possibly a new state record (current one is 3:38.52).
