State record-holder Aaliyah Miller has been an unstoppable force in this event for the past three years. She was runner-up her freshmen year, and took the title the next two. With a PR of 2:05.94, she's extremely tough to beat, but could be challenged by Jersey Village's Morgan Stewart-she ran the fastest 800m time this year in 2:09.60. It's a long shot, but with a perfect race, she could pull off an upset. We also can't count out senior Christie Terhune, who finished third in this event last year with a 2:11.41.
