The 100-meter dash features an incredibly close race at the top, with Javannie Christie (Houston Sterling, 2025) leading the region at 10.45, edging out Joshua Babin (Baytown Goose Creek Memorial, 2026) by just one-hundredth of a second at 10.46, both from the Panther Relays. Jayden Warren (Iowa Colony, 2026) and Jordan Simmons (Fort Bend Marshall, 2027) are tied for third at 10.57, with Warren running his mark at the Generation Park T&F Invitational and Simmons at the Mayde Creek Invitational.
The 200-meter dash is led by Jayden Warren, who clocked 21.33 (+1.5) at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet Invitational, holding off Jordan Riggs (Fort Bend Marshall, 2027) at 21.55 from the Spartan Relays, and Jonathan Gonzales (Baytown Goose Creek Memorial, 2025) at 21.66 from the LCISD Relays. Warren also owns a second top-10 time at 21.93, making him one of the most consistent sprinters in the region.
