Valor Prep distance star Ethan Locke ran 9:09 at the Texas Distance Festival

Here are the top 200 performers this outdoor season in the 800m, 1,600m, and the 3,200m events.
Cooper Lutkenhaus continues to dazzle in the 800m, but Luke Bone and Heath Grant have both run under 1:51 already. In the 1,600m, Caden Gary is the only Texas under 4:10 so far this outdoor season. While a couple of boys have dipped under 4:10 indoors, Gary's run at TDF was the first outside.
The 3,200m has also yet to just pop off, but this weekend is usually the time annually when performances really drop. Zachary Miller (Northside Brennan), Ethan Locke (Valor Prep), Joaquin De La Cruz (McKinney Boyd), and Christian Castro-Cruz (Austin Vandegrift) are the only boys to run under 9:10 so far this season.
