With the Dallas Jesuit XC Inv. win, Elizabeth Leachman (Boerne Champion) added another stunning race to add to her season's resume
Elizabeth Leachman has lived in the mid 16s this season for 5,000m. The Boerne Champion sophomore ran 16:27 to win the Jesuit XC Classic in Dallas this past weekend.
Elsewhere, Macy Wingard (Denton Braswell) has been consistent and ran 17:08 this weekend to place second overall at the Chile Pepper Festival. Samantha Humphries (Flower Mound) dropped a 17:13 at Nike South for the win and San Juanita Leal (Edinburg North) added the RGVCCCA Meet of Champions win in 17:23.
A total of twelve girls ran under eighteen-minutes this weekend on courses that are regarded as honest 5,000m distances.
