Duncanville girls take the 4x100 win at the Bob Alpert Relays with a state leading 45.60

The Texas girls outdoor track and field weekend saw some top rated marks. From the sprints to distances as well as field events and relays.

Here are some noted performances:

Indya Mayberry (North Crowley) ran 11.43 in the 100m and 23.86 in the 200m. Wind, weather, whatever, those are impressive outdoors in February!

Duncanville -  The reigning and defending UIL 6A team champions ran 45.60 in the 4x100 relay. While not running a blazing 4x400 relay this weekend, the Panthers had juniors De'Kayla Simpson run 56.49 and Ashley Lister run 56.78 in the open 400m.

- Although it was for a runner-up finish, Lancaster ran 46.02 in the 4x100 relay under the tutelage of former Texas high school NCAA star and first year Lancaster head coach Lakeidra Stewart.

Isabel Conde De Frankenberg - (Cedar Park) ran a 56.42 open 400m.
