There haven't been many area meets yet, but they are coming.
Yesterday was the first day of Area Championships throughout the state and the remaining meets are today and tomorrow.
Some kids didn't waste time to get good marks in despite windy conditions. For example, Round Rock senior Kebede Kerlin won the 1600m at his area championships in 4:15.84 and was second in the 3200m in 9:25.29
